Devoted to Education and Rescue of homozygous Australian Shepherd Lethal White is the term used to describe a MM Australian Shepherd because when the breeder sees the white born, he will generally cull the pup, without the benefit of a veterinarian. So to be a white Aussie is to have a limited lifespan in too many cases. Breeding merle to merle produces the double merle genetic defect, resulting in 25% of the litter being deaf or blind or both. Our goal is to educate the public on the dangers of merle to merle breeding, as well as rescuing the Lethal Whites at shelters and in imminent danger of euthanization.

We are a small forever home sanctuary for special needs cats Our organization started as a fundraising group to gain the funds to start a spay/neuter program to help save the lives of literally hundreds of free roaming and feral cats in our own neighborhood. Since that time we have discovered a bigger need. Too many animals that are left or born outside contract incurable diseases. We have developed a program that not only rehabilitates these animals but provides a forever home to animals who would otherwise have died horrible inhumane deaths without ever knowing what it felt like to be cared for.
